On Tuesday, Starchild, a branch of King Records has just confirmed that the sequel to the anime K in 2015 will be the "new season". Official Twitter Account of K anime project announced last month that in the sequel of the series has been given the green light in 2015. The announcement, however, did not specify what media will be used by the project this sequel. The sequel to last them are wide-screen movies, K: Missing Kings.

Yui Kuroe will write K-Countdown, a manga that would be a sequel and starts in February next year in the ARIA magazine owned Kodansha published on 27 December. This manga will describe advanced and what happens after K: Missing Kings in terms of the different characters.
Television series first aired in 2012, and the series still has a lot of fans even today. Judging from the announcement of "new season", it looks like a continuation of this K series will be shifted to the new anime.
