The members of the idol group 'Momoiro Clover Z,' which Kanako Momota, Shiori Tamai, Reni Takagi, Momoka Ariyasu, Ayaka Sasaki all play a role in a new movie called The Curtain Rises (literal title of "Maku Agaru ga"). The film is directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro ("Bayside Shakedown" / "Summer Time Machine Blues") and appointed based on the novel in 2012 titled "Maku ga Agaru" by Oriza Hirata.
The story for The Curtain Rises bring five girls in a high school drama performance group that tries to take part in the play competition. The girls are hoping to win the regional competition, but their teacher, played by Kuroki Haru, think they should target the national competition.
The Curtain Rises will be released on February 28, 2015 in Japan.
